Heather N. Naples

Heather N. Naples, RS holds a Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering and a Masters Degree in Engineering Administration from Virginia Tech. A registered Professional Engineer, Mrs. Naples has experience in all phases of project design, contract administration, and inspection of public and private facilities. As an Engineer, she has completed multiple facilities engineering studies, life cycle cost studies, and analysis for repair versus replacement of facilities and systems.

Philip Pointon

Philip Pointon, RS holds a Bachelors Degree in Architecture from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University and a Masters Degree from Old Dominion University in Engineering Management as well as completion of the U.S. Army Management Staff College. Mr. Pointon has been a Registered Professional Architect in the State of Virginia and Hawaii since 1990, and has served in many facilities in an architectural function since 1987. He currently services the Hampton Roads, Virginia area.


Gregory S. Gilbert

Gregory S. Gilbert holds a Bachelors Degree in Architecture from the Georgia Institute of Technology and a Master of Architecture from the University of Oklahoma.  Mr. Gilbert is a licensed Architect.  Mr. Gilbert’s experience includes the design of residential homes, fire stations, and most recently educational facilities.  He has also done over twenty feasibility studies for the U. S. Navy, Boards of Education, and retail developers.  All of these feasibility studies included performing existing condition surveys to look for maintenance issues, code violations, and general conditions of the structure to determine if and how the buildings can be renovated or modified.  As a reserve analyst, Mr. Gilbert currently services Washington, DC and Maryland, including the Eastern Shore, having completed over 250 studies during the past 15 years.


Gary D. Freeman

Gary D. Freeman, AIA, CCS, NCARB, RS holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture from Mississippi State University.

Mr. Freeman is a registered Architect in the States of South Carolina and Mississippi. He has over 30 years of experience as a practicing Architect with a strong focus in the last 15 years in the area of building forensics and assessments. He is President of Gary Freeman Architect, Inc.

Currently, Gary resides near Charleston, South Carolina and is a Reserve Specialist for Miller+Dodson Associates, servicing coastal and eastern projects in South Carolina and Georgia.

Mark Haase

Mark Haase, RS holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics from the State University of New York at Fredonia and an Associate’s degree in Civil Engineering from Northern Virginia Community College. Mr. Haase has experience in all phases of construction project design, initiation, administration, and inspection of facilities. As a project manager, he has managed all phases of commercial construction.

Brian J. Oates

Brian J. Oates graduated from the University of Maryland with a degree in Urban Planning and studied the Principals and Practices of appraisal at the American University.  He has owned and operated management companies in the Washington area and developed single and multifamily properties in the Washington metropolitan area.  Brian is currently a reserve analyst for Miller Dodson Associates, Inc.  Currently, Mr. Oates services the Washington, DC, Virginia, and Maryland area.


Glenn Larrimore

Glenn Larrimore, AIA, has over twenty year’s professional experience in architecture, engineering, and construction.  Glenn holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Architectural Engineering and a Master of Architecture degree from the Georgia Institute of Technology.  His work experience includes commercial, multi-family, mixed-use, healthcare, and master planning.  In addition, he has designed over 100 private homes and renovations, including several high-end residential projects.  Mr. Larrimore is currently a Reserve Analyst for Miller+Dodson Associates.


Bill Conner

Bill Conner, RS holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Economics from James Madison University. Mr. Conner has over forty years of experience in residential construction, commercial construction, architectural woodwork, and inspection services. Bill has personally inspected and evaluated over 3,000 properties and managed the inspection of many more throughout the eastern United States. Currently, Bill resides near Richmond, Virginia and is a Reserve Analyst for MillerDodson Associates, servicing central and western Virginia.

Donna Hylton

Ms. Donna Hylton, holds a Bachelors Degree in Accounting, a Masters Degree in Business Administration (concentrating in Management Science), and a Masters Degree in Industrial Engineering and Operations Research, all from Virginia Tech. Ms. Hylton has over 20 years of experience in cost analysis and in systems design and testing, primarily as a contractor for the U.S. Army. She also has experience in landscape design, building, and maintaining hardscape structures. Donna is currently a Reserve Analyst for Miller+Dodson Associates.

Ron Shapiro

Mr. Ronald M. Shapiro, PE, RS, holds both a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) Degree and a Master of Engineering (ME) Degree in Civil Engineering from the Stevens Institute of Technology. He has attended many continuing education courses in a variety of specialties within the construction field. Mr. Shapiro is a Registered Professional Engineer in the States of Maryland and Florida. He’s managed both large and small construction projects for a variety of private sector, institutional, and government concerns during his 45+ years in the industry. Mr. Shapiro has performed property condition surveys throughout the MD-DC-VA area as well in FL, MS, LA, NC, NY, & OH. He’s been an Arbitrator for several construction cases for the American Arbitration Association and an Expert subject matter (construction) witness in Maryland and Florida. Ron is currently a Reserve Specialist for MillerDodson.

Michael J. Pellegrino

Mr. Michael J. Pellegrino, AICP, NCARB, is an architect with active registrations in the states of Kentucky, Maryland, Virginia, and Delaware, as well as a certified Urban Planner.  As president of PAS Architecture, LLC, located in Southern Maryland, Mr. Pellegrino and has over 30 years of professional practice in architecture and planning, including commercial, religious, entertainment, and residential projects throughout the region.  Mr. Pellegrino is a Reserve Analyst for Miller+Dodson Associates.

Jared P. Bock

Mr. Jared P. Bock holds an Associates of Science degree in Architectural Construction from Owens Community College and a Bachelor of Science degree in Architecture from the Ohio State University.  Mr. Bock has about 17 years of experience in architecture plan detailing and construction techniques, as well as 10 years of construction bank-draw field inspections.  Within his architectural experience, Mr. Bock has managed and field verified over 100 projects.  Jared is currently a reserve analyst for Miller+Dodson Associates, serving primarily in the State of Ohio.

Craig Amaral

Mr. Craig Amaral, holds an Associate’s Degree in Architectural and Construction Technology from Montgomery College in Rockville, Maryland, with continuing courses in Bachelor of Science programs in Physical Science at the University of Maryland College Park, Maryland, and Electrical Engineering at Capitol College in Laurel, Maryland. In addition, he has completed several certificate programs in Managing Government Contracts from the Masters Institute for Government Contracting. Craig has over 25 years of experience as a construction management consultant, with 40 years of experience as an Executive Project Manager, Project Manager, Estimator, and Construction Inspector. He has served as Corporate Vice President for a mechanical prime contractor and Principle in his own construction consulting firm. Mr. Amaral is currently a reserve analyst for Miller+Dodson, serving the greater Baltimore/Washington Metropolitan area.

Richard Biedenharn

Mr. Richard Biedenharn has a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Southern Methodist University, a Juris Doctorate from Louisiana State University Law School, and a Master of Laws/Taxation from Southern Methodist University Law school. Mr. Biedenharn has experience in construction trades, including carpentry and concrete work. Richard has construction management experience in residential, multifamily, commercial, and light industrial projects. He has represented construction companies and land developers as an attorney. He has owned, managed, and remodeled commercial properties, and has managed properties for others. Richard has also developed raw land with new roads, curbs, gutters, drainage, retention ponds, and all utilities.

Richard Biedenharn

George Oliphant

Mr. George Oliphant has a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from West Virginia University. He has experience in the business of lumber importing and exporting both here in the United States and throughout Europe. While residing in Europe, Mr. Oliphant also worked as a procurer of various building materials for developers and construction companies alike. Since his return to the United States eighteen years ago, he has been a licensed home inspector in the state of Maryland.

James Patz

James Patz holds Bachelor and Master of Architecture degrees from Clemson University. As an architect, he has worked in the Design and Construction Administration of numerous college and university buildings in the Eastern United States, as well as Arizona. His experience includes various types of institutional buildings, including municipal, law enforcement, and courthouses. As well as residential and religious structures. Mr. Patz is currently a Reserve Analyst with MillerDodson Associates.

Richard Huge

Richard Huge holds a BS in Accounting from Syracuse University in Syracuse, New York. Richard has spent several years in construction cost accounting. In addition, he has held licenses as a Realtor and Mortgage Broker. Richard has also been a Facilities Manager for an animal hospital and a church. He has held licenses as a Realtor and Mortgage Broker and has worked closely with buyers and sellers, Homeowners Associations, and Condominium Boards in completing sales contracts. Mr. Huge is currently a reserve analyst for MillerDodson serving the greater Baltimore/Washington Metropolitan area.

Curtis McKenzie

Curtis McKenzie, RA, NCARB holds a Master’s Degree in Architecture from Clemson University with a concentration in Health Care Planning, Programming, and Design. Mr. McKenzie is a registered architect in the state of Georgia with more than 31 years of government and private practice experience. He is certified in Level 3 Facilities Engineering and is an award-winning published author. He is a Lead Architect with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and a Reserve Analyst for MillerDodson Associates.

Christopher J. Lepadatu

Mr. Christopher J. Lepadatu holds a bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from Penn State University and a master’s degree in Environmental Engineering from Tsinghua University, Beijing.  He has more than 15 years of experience in construction and consulting with experience assessing property condition and performance in New York City for various clients including Brookfield, Related, Tishman, and JLL.  With his experience in new multi-family construction and pre-war buildings, he is a qualified Reserve Analyst at Miller Dodson.

Maksim Kabaluk

Mr. Maksim Kabaluk, P.E. holds a Master’s Degree in Structural Engineering from Florida Atlantic University. Mr. Kabaluk is a registered Engineer in the state of Virginia. He has over 10 years of experience working in engineering with a strong focus in the last 7 years in Structural Engineering. Specifically interested in design of new buildings as well as structural forensics and building assessments.

Richard J. Montaner

Richard J. Montaner graduated from Denver University in 1974 with a BSBA degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Real Estate and Construction Management. Mr. Montaner has held various management positions in commercial and residential real estate construction, including multi-family housing projects. Richard has extensive field experience as well as senior project management duties and responsibilities as Project Executive spanning 40-plus years. Richard currently serves as a Reserve Analyst for Miller Dodson Associates, Inc.

Kurt Froelich

Kurt Froelich holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Columbia International University. He has over 30 years of experience in residential construction, contracting, and home inspections. Kurt has performed over 7400 full home inspections. He is fluent in German and has lived overseas for a combined 24 years, in Palau, the Philippines, and Austria. Kurt and his wife reside in Richmond, VA, and have 3 children and 4 grandchildren. He is a Reserve Analyst for Miller-Dodson Associates.

Matthew Hale

Matthew Hale holds an AAS Aircraft Systems Maintenance Technology degree from the College of the Air Force. Matthew moved on from the Aircraft maintenance field and began a career in residential and commercial construction spanning over 20 plus years. Matthew oversaw the engineering and building of a large active adult community, building a data center within Hyattsville MD’s historical district, and managing multimillion-dollar projects. Matthew is currently the Director of Construction working with property owners and property management in the MD and VA areas and a Reserve Analyst for MillerDodson Associates.

Robert W. Oliphant

Robert W. Oliphant graduated from The Ohio State University with a degree in Landscape Architecture and has a degree in Accounting from the University of Maryland. He worked as a licensed Landscape Architect for 11 years on projects ranging from commercial buildings, housing developments, schools, and government facilities. He obtained his CPA license and worked shortly in public accounting but spent most of his 26 years working in governmental accounting. He spent 15 years as the Treasurer for two municipalities in Maryland where he worked with elected officials and department heads to develop the annual and capital budgets.

John W. Roberts

John W. Roberts has over 40 years of experience as a Class “A” General Contractor, home builder and real estate developer in Virginia, Maryland and Washington, DC, having managed the construction of residential, commercial and development projects totaling in excess of $450 million. Mr. Roberts has been the Owner’s Representative for clients such as Prudential Insurance – Real investment and Hilton Hotels. He has provided expert witness testimony for client litigation. Mr. Roberts is Managing Member of Archer Enterprises, LLC, providing consultation services to the real estate development industry.

Mr. Elias Aragaw, PE, is a highly accomplished professional in the field of civil engineering, bringing extensive expertise and a strong educational background. He holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering from Temple University in Philadelphia, PA. With registrations as a Professional Engineer in the States of Maryland and Washington, DC, Mr. Aragaw has established himself as a trusted and skilled engineer. With over 12 years of experience, he has excelled in various areas including project management, structural design, facility condition assessment (FCA), geotechnical engineering, and construction inspection. His portfolio includes the successful completion of numerous residential and commercial design projects and FCA projects in the DMV region. Mr. Aragaw’s dedication to quality and his role as a Reserve Specialist for MillerDodson Associates highlights his commitment to delivering exceptional engineering services.

John R. Greco

Mr. John R. (John Ray) Greco holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering from the United States Air Force Academy and a Master’s Degree in Business Administration from the University of Utah. Mr. Greco is a registered Professional Engineer in the State of Colorado. He has over 25 years of engineering experience. Mr. Greco has managed the design, construction, maintenance, and risk management of numerous commercial facilities throughout the United States.

W. Jeff Furr

Mr. W. Jeff Furr, PE, Broker-Realtor, (Former) Professional Energy Manager holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from UNC-Charlotte.  Mr. Furr is a registered Engineer in North Carolina and a licensed Real Estate Agent in North Carolina and South Carolina.  He has over 30 years of programming, design, bidding, and build experience as a practicing engineer on both vertical and horizontal capital projects for the City of Charlotte.  Noteworthy municipal projects include the NASCAR Hall of Fame Museum, Spectrum Arena, and the South Corridor Light Rail System where he served in positions as Senior Project Manager and Senior Engineer.  Mr. Furr went on to acquire his real estate license in 2019 and has since worked as a Land Acquisition Agent and Realtor.  He has a passion for learning new work skills and to share his knowledge with others.

William Britt

Mr. William Britt, P.E. holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil and Environmental Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology and an MBA with a concentration in finance from the Goizueta Business School at Emory University.  Mr. Britt is a registered Engineer a licensed General Contractor in Georgia, and a Certified Building Contractor in Florida.  He has over 20 years of experience in engineering, commercial and residential construction, finance, and investments.  He is the owner of Britt Capital, a real estate investments and property management firm, and a Reserve Analyst for MillerDodson Associates.

Rick McKittrick

Mr. Rick McKittrick holds a Bachelors Degree in Engineering from the University of Connecticut and a Masters Degree in Engineering from Boston University.  Mr. McKittrick is a Registered Professional Engineer in the State of Ohio.  He has managed the maintenance, repair, design, and construction of facilities and community infrastructure in the U.S. and overseas for private companies and government agencies.  He is currently a Reserve Analyst for MillerDodson Associates
